Gift Guide: Festive Holiday Drinks & Gifts

Whether in person or via zoom, here are ideas for gifting some holiday cheer!

#1 A Sidecar (or 2) Gift

A sidecar is a great classic drink that is simple to make but packs great taste. Gift these glasses along with the recipe below and be sure to elevate the gift receivers next drink!

Our favorite, easy Sidecar recipe:

2 oz brandy
1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau)
3/4 oz lemon juice
Garnish: lemon peel twist

Add all liquid ingredients to a shaker of ice.
Shake well.
Pour in to coupe.
Garnish with lemon twist.

#2 The Perfect Old Fashion Taster

From orange to floral and everywhere in-between, this 5 pack sampler set makes an excellent gift. Send this as a gift along with your favorite old fashion recipe (see ours below!) and they can mix it up and have 5 distinct takes on the classic!

Our favorite, easy Old Fashion:

2-3 dashes Bitters
(try different flavors each time for a slightly different taste)
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
1.5 oz Rye Bourbon
Orange peel

Add liquid ingredients in order and stir to combine.
Add 1 large ice cube (or 3-4 small) and stir for 20-30 seconds till chilled.
Express the oil from the orange peel and rubbing along sides of glass. Place orange peel on side of ice cube.

#3 Shaken, Not Stirred: Martini

Gift the perfect shaker set like this gold one and the gift receiver can enjoy their martinis Bond style….Shaken, not stirred! Be sure to include a martini recipe like the one below!

Our favorite, easy Martini recipe:

2.5 oz vodka (or gin)
0.5 ounce dry vermouth
Garnish: Lemon peel twist

Add liquid ingredients the shaker with ice.
Shake for 20-30 seconds until mixed and chilled.
Pour into your favorite martini glass.
Garnish with Lemon twist.

#4 Frozen Margaritas

Is there someone on your list that you would like to buy a larger present? How about the ability to start happy hour in style with frozen margaritas at home with a Margaritaville Machine! Be sure to add in the recipe below to ensure the ultimate in summer vibes!

Our favorite, easy Margarita Machine recipe:

Fill the ice reservoir.
In base container add:

4 oz gold tequila
1 oz tripe sec
1 oz lime juice
3 oz orange juice
4 oz Margarita mix

Turn on the machine and push the start/shave button. The machine will taken on the rest!

#5 Or…Just add liquor

For the ultimate easy cocktail, gift someone this multipack of drink kits. Each kit make 3-6 drinks, so this is the perfect present for someone who is hosting small gatherings (is there any other kind right now?) or for a night with a special someone. Our personal favorite is the Champagne Cocktail with a delicious hint of bitters and citrus!
